Compatibility and Fit

This 4-pack fits most hinged doors up to 1-3/8” thick and up to 1-13/16” thick when the GlideLok’s spacer bar is removed. Suitable for interior and exterior doors, French doors, and doors with knobs, levers, or large/unique handles.

Installation Requirements

REQUIRES DRILLING ONE SCREW (INCLUDED) INTO DOOR FRAME. When installing on exterior doors, the screw will be drilled on the outside part of your door frame. The GlideLok can still be operated from both sides. Ensure you can reach the top of your door to slide the GlideLok.

Usage and Safety

Use it to babyproof all the doors in your house, including the pantry, office, bedrooms, front and back door, and basement. ADULTS CAN OPERATE FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE DOOR. You won’t get stuck on one side of the door while your child is on the other. (This is a problem with other door handle childproof locks.) Also, you can disengage the GlideLok if you don’t need it locked for a while - allowing you to operate the door normally until you need to lock it again.

CHILDREN CAN’T REACH IT SINCE IT SITS ON TOP OF THE DOOR. Unlike other childproof door lever locks or knob covers, the GlideLok rests on top of your door like a saddle, keeping it out of reach of toddlers and children.
